A chance conversation at Copenhagen airport in 2018 between our founder Steve Leng and the Managing Director of a major exporting group sparked the idea behind Virifides’ Product Passport.

They discussed how modern technology could transform trading relationships throughout the supply chain, creating greater trust and collaboration with more accurate, timely and verifiable data. How to embark on this journey became the genesis for the Product Passport.

In 2021, after a few years of developing the concept, Virifides Digital was founded to build on the idea and take it to market.
